Campus professionals may encounter situations where disability-related experiences intersect with institutional processes, raising questions about safety, disruption, or appropriate response. This TWIX/Talking BITs explores how Title IX and Behavioral Intervention Teams (BITs) can thoughtfully navigate concerns involving students with disabilities while balancing institutional responsibilities, student autonomy, and equitable treatment. The presenters will discuss common challenges, explore cross-campus coordination, and consider strategies for responding in ways that are informed, supportive, and aligned with institutional policies.
