Neo-Nazi Contagion (Product Unavailable for Purchase)

The 2020 Terrorism Threat Assessment released by the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness reflects an increase in threat level of white supremacy groups from moderate to high, which now makes neo-Nazi terrorist organizations a greater threat to the U.S. than foreign terror organizations.  As such, now is the time to focus attention on the rising concern to ensure we are prepared to face the threat head-on.  Though some acts of violence perpetrated by white supremacists are highly publicized, there has been a rise in personal attack, anti-Semitic violence as well as violence directed toward other racial and ethnic minorities.  In fact, a growing threat is to the safety and security of Asian-Americans who are inaccurately blamed by these groups for intentionally “causing” the spread of COVID-19.  As a participant, you will be familiarized with several dangerous white supremacy groups, realize why they pose a threat, and understand how they are recruiting vulnerable, at-risk youth.  In addition, there will be information on how to apply NaBITA threat assessment principles to address those likely to commit violence in the name of white supremacy.
